I met David three years ago. I bought his package at the other workshop where I was learning how to market and it scared the crud out of me. I put the first CD in and put it back in; didn't get it, didn't get it. I'm not a numbers person, but I like to make food. It took me the next time that I saw him at that workshop for him to say you bought my package you need to come to the workshop.
You bought the package, come to the workshop it's free. I'm thinking okay, this guy actually stands behind his product for one thing. He cares enough in me to have me go to his workshop, I mean he already sold me the thing and I sat through that, still didn't get it, but I'm one of those people that I jump and then figure it out later.
I signed up for the Elite and in month and a half I had no restaurant. I signed up for the Elite and then I had no restaurant for six months, so I though well this is a good time for me to learn how to do what I should have known 14 years ago to reopen a restaurant and it's been a great experience. I'm still not quick, I still don't have all the systems done, I barely have any of them done, but I know why I need to have them done and I'm motivated now to get them done.
I have Fred who is like me as far as he's a chef, he has a little restaurant, he gets it and he's a great teacher. I mean there are so many great people like Henry. Everybody has the same situations and the same problems, but this is a guy that answers his phone, which I think is incredible.
If you can't take the opportunity to take this opportunity now you should take the opportunity at some point in time, because this is worth far more than any college education like I paid for; stupid. If anybody wants to go into the culinary field fine go to culinary school, but out of three years I got so much more out of this than I ever did from college.
If you have any questions find me later, but I think for value this has been the greatest change of my 15 years in the business. At least it's encouraging and I think this group is encouraging and we can all make change just like Michelle said what this does is give you the empowerment back, which is great.
